Okay I noticed this on a person (don't even ask how), but what could this be??? It is near the anus but possibly three inches away from the opening. It is about the diameter of a quarter and hangs by a cord of skin a tiny thinner than a pencil. Appears painless but I didn't want to ask...Does Anyone have any concept what this thing could be??? The only issue I can think of is maybe an external hemorrhoid but it is further from the anal region and is not red...It is typical skin tone. Any ideas?

im thinking hemroid also! i dont believe they have to be that close to the whole. it may well just be a birth defect too
