Doc Johnson Jelly toy- if left out it gets a greasy film, even after cleaning. Why? Any way to avoid this?

Question by belle_vivre: Doc Johnson Jelly toy- if left out it gets a greasy film, even after cleaning. Why? Any way to steer clear of this?
I checked thier website other merchandise are listed as 'latex free' or 'polymelt rubber', but this item is listed as becoming created from thier special jellie (thier spelling) material.

Questioning if any person else has experienced, and if there are any ideas for straightforward storing avoiding the odd effect of extended make contact with with air.
