Question by poofybunny689: How long does it take for anal glands on a dog to go away?
My yorkie's anal glands was swollen almost to the size of a golf ball and today our vet came and empty his glands. I was just wondering how long it will take before it's no longer swollen?
our vet gave us some pills to give him once a day for 11 days but I'm not sure if they are for the glands or not.

My dog's were the same way and he took a few days before it went down. Depending on how well your vet did depends on when it'll go down.
