I just read that vibrators produced of jelly rubber have phthalates which can cause allergic reactions and even cancer.
I have a lucid dream vibrator and now im terrified to use it. i went to the website that i purchased it from but it doesnt list what it is made of.

probably silicone.
However sex toys are not regulated like children's toys are.
Thats why they are labeled as novelty items NOT sex toys.
Your supposed to use a condom with all sex toys.
About the only sex toys you don't need protection with is glass toys.
