Q&A: Ladies, I need your preferences in what bondage stuff to buy?

Question by E A: Ladies, I require your preferences in what bondage stuff to get?
My girlfriend consented to me tying her up, but she's a bit new to the whole bondage thing so I was wondering what is comfortable to you ladies...

For the rope, should I get typical or silk?

Gags, need to I use a ballgag or tape?

What clothes? My gf has some nice lingerie, but is there anything distinct that would make it greater?

Blindfolds?

What kind of ties would be ok? Hogties, hands tied to ceiling, tied to a chair?

Beginner's rope kit.

- Go to your local hardware store, ship supply store, Home Depot...
- Look for the softest rope you can locate, nylon is very best IMO, size three/8" is very good for starters. Take any color you fancy. Don't purchase pre-packaged rope, only rope you can touch.
- Buy 100 feet. Buy also some 1" wide colored electrical tape.
- At home cut the rope in pieces, one of 50', four of 12'.
- Wrap some overlapping layers of tape on the ends of the rope.
This is to stop the rope from fraying and unraveling.
(Detail: it's half the work if you invert the last two actions, taping the rope where you are going to cut it.)

You have now sufficient rope, to tie an individual spreadeagle, to tie a rope harness, hogtie somebody, all for 40 dollars or so.

Gags: make a cleave gag from a scarf, it gives you the write feeling without being overwhelming like a ball gag. Tape is a poor thought, impossible to breath via the mouth, and not really pleasant to take off.

Blindfold: a must! A scarf, or those blindfolds they distribute on lengthy distance flights, will do perfectly.

Ties: hogties are... intriguing, but for tieing and teasing, spread eagles and chairties are much more practical. Ties where you stand with your hands above your head, can not be supported for a lengthy time, as your hands will fall asleep.
