Q&A: HUGE Fridge Issues, Please help? Wont run? Popped Plug?

Question by He > i: Huge Fridge Issues, Please support? Wont run? Popped Plug?
Oki doki here goes.
I picked up a fridge last night from someone,
I laid it on its side for a 20-30 min vehicle ride, sat it on its end for like an hour.
Then put it upstairs, the mover guy plugged it in asap and it POPPED.
Theres a small bit of burning on the small plug component, and the fridge didnt begin running,
So I unplugged it, googled how to fix it and I cant figure out and dang thing..
Its been unplugged for about 12 hours, and I just want advice on how to fix it?
Or make it.. go.
I actually require a fridge, and I worked my butt off to get this one..
Id hate to know it was totally shot.
Assist?

Oh, i took off the little back cover, and every little thing is connected,
The fan isnt running although,
and when i went to choose it up it was working Wonderful!

Setup Precautions
General Electric recommends that you not plug in the refrigerator quickly upon setup in its new location. GE says to wait until the unit sits for an amount of time that is equal to the amount of time it was on its side. If the fridge remains on its side for longer than a day, leave the unit unplugged in its upright position for at least 24 hours just before plugging it in.
This is right after having laid fridge on it is side !~
